Way back when, there was a song called "Rakki Rakki" or "Lucky Lucky", sung by Shin'ichiro Miki, the voice actor for Kojiro/James in the Pokémon anime. You may already know of it, if not from the CDs "Team Rocket Forever" and "Sound Picture Box - It's a White Tomorrow! Team Rocket", then from the animutation based on it. For those who don't know, it's rife with puns using the Japanese names of several Generation I Pokémon.

So one day, I thought, "I wonder if I can make an English adaptation." So, sitting down with the lyrics and a fan translation, as well as a list of all Pokémon to that point, all from Bulbapedia, I began adapting.

As said, this is an English adaptation. I tried to keep as faithful to the meaning of the fan translation as I could. However, I used the English names of Pokémon, and allowed myself to reach far beyond Generation I. (I don't think I could've done it otherwise.) I took longer than I was hoping, but it's just as well, as this allowed me to get in a couple of Gen VIIs in there near the end.

I'd say it's Lopunny, except I think it's hi-punny.
